The Planters Garden Rooms are five 400 sq ft twin rooms at Tranquil Resort, housed in a refurbished planters bungalow and opening onto one large shared verandah overlooking the garden and pool. Together they hold ten adults plus two extra beds.
The verandah is what makes them work. Planter's chairs, cane furniture, footstools, and five doors opening onto it.
What is inside each room?
Each room is twin-bedded, with two beds measuring seven feet by four, an ensuite bathroom with an all-glass shower stall, luggage racks, a wardrobe and a working desk.
How are the five rooms arranged?
All five rooms sit side by side in one bungalow and open onto a single shared verandah. Booked together, the bungalow and its verandah belong to one group.
They are also the closest rooms to the dining hall, the swimming pool and the garden, so nothing on the property requires a walk before breakfast.

Groups of friends and several families travelling together take all five rooms. Together they hold ten adults plus two extra beds.
Individual rooms can also be booked on their own, in which case the verandah is shared with whoever else is in the bungalow.

What is around the bungalow?
The swimming pool is beside the bungalow, 3.5 feet at the shallow end and 5.5 at the deep end, with a jacuzzi alongside. The dining hall, the Ayurvedic spa and the tree deck lounge are all within a short walk, and ten walking trails are mapped across the 400-acre estate.
Meals are served in the communal dining hall, with breakfast 8:30 to 10:30, lunch 12:30 to 3:00 and dinner 7:30 to 9:30.
